Tomorrow marks the official start of the Fall TV season and there are tons of new and returning shows with brand new episodes that are premiering this week!Let’s start with NBC. They’re launching Mondays with Chuck, a returning show (and one of my favorites) entering it’s fourth season. This season will focus on Chuck trying to find his mother who left him and his family at an early age. We’ll also see how Chuck and Sarah’s relationship stands after their steamy final scene last season. Casey was shot and apparently killed in last seasons finale, so we’ll see what happens that as well. After Chuck, NBC is premiering their much talked about and heavily promoted serialized drama, The Event. We don’t know much, but it’s about 3 events, one is a Presidential assassination attempt, another is a mysterious disappearance of a mans girlfriend, and the other is a CIA coverup of a top secret facility. The thing is, none of these are THE EVƎNT. What is it? How can it possibly be bigger than a CIA coverup or a Presidential assassination? You’ll have to tune in tomorrow night. After THE EVƎNT, NBC is premiering another brand new show, Chase. I don’t know much about it, but since she is chasing criminals of major crimes, I’m guessing she’s a U.S. Marshal and every week you’ll see her catching criminals. It seems like FX’s Justified except it’s a woman playing the lead. It could be a good show, but NBC hasn’t been so good in picking them. I’ll give a shot though tomorrow night. Let’s switch over to ABC, who’s filling up 2 hours Monday night with the season premiere of Dancing With The Stars. It should nab the highest ratings of the night and if you like reality and dancing, you should watch. After DWTS, the third season of Castle premieres with a bang when Beckett finds Castle right next to a dead woman with a gun on his hand and gets arrested by his own partner for murder. Over at CBS, it’s the return of existing hits and much talked about premieres starting with How I Met Your Mother, Rules of Engagement, Two and a Half Men in it’s new time slot, and the premiere of their new Comedy Mike & Molly. I saw the trailer and this show does look promising. It centers around 2 heavy people one being a teacher and one being a cop falling in love after they met in an overeaters seminar. If you like sitcoms, this could be a hit. After that, CBS is premiering their highly talked about crime drama Hawaii Five-0. It’s based on the 1960s TV show with a Modern twist. A naval officer goes back to Hawaii where his father was killed and gets a job offer that he can’t refuse, be the head of an task force in right in the center of Hawaii. I actually was going to watch Chase (as I mentioned earlier) but I think I might change my mind by tomorrow night, Hawaii Five-0 sounds good! Finally, Fox. They only have 2 hours of primetime but almost all of their time now have hits, something that was unheard of for Fox 15 years ago. The night starts with House, and you’re going to see how House and Cuddy’s feelings develop after last seasons finale when House and Cuddy took it to the next step and got in on if you know what I mean… After House, Fox is premiering their new Drama, Lone Star. I’m going to take a wild guess and say it’s based in Texas. It follows a guy named Robert Allen who’s the ultimate con man and is leading a double life. Its sure to make a lot of drama and make an interesting show. Damn, if THE EVƎNT wasn’t on, I would definitely be watching this show. So that’s it for Monday!
