Fox introduced it’s 2011-2012 schedule to advertisers at their upfront presentation this morning in New York City. With it comes some surprises, which include its scheduling of the JJ Abrams mystery drama ‘Alcatraz,’ which has been held until midseason. Also, the high-profile epic ‘Terra Nova’ has been put on the increasingly competitive Monday time-slot of 8 PM, which means ‘House’ will move to 9 PM during the fall (but will move back to 8 PM during midseason.) For Tuesday nights, only one new show will appear on that time-slot, and that is the half hour comedy, ‘The New Girl,’ which will air right after Fox’s hit musical/comedy, ‘Glee.’ The X-Factor will dart out with a bang, as Fox strives to become #1 in reality competition shows, placing it on Wednesdays and Thursdays, airing for an hour and an hour and a half, respectively.
Like on NBC’s post, I’ll post a graphical schedule with all the new shows, provided by Entertainment Weekly. (Thanks again, EW!)
